ARTS IN THE PARK
 
In 2023 Arts in the Park will be Sept 16th in the Camdenton City Park. From 10 am to 2 pm.

Evening on the Prairie
Prairie Day reception
with Solar and night sky observing  provided by the Camden County Astronomy  Club

in Cole Camp, Missouri, 
hosted by the Missouri Prairie Foundation and Audubon  Missouri
is held in October each year. An evening of wine tasting,
appetizers, and live music.


The Tuscumbia Middle School in Tuscumbia Missouri was host to a star party in 2011. The Camden County Astronomy Club was there to show them the night sky.

On September 13, 2011 The Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.  Hosted an Evening Under the Stars with
former NASA Astronaut John Blaha at the Willmore Lodge, Lake Ozark MO.  Following  dinner the guests took a peek at our solar system through telescopes provide by  the Camden County Astronomy Club
.

In April 2012 three of our club members, Clark, Jim and Ginny, attended NEAF  (Northeast Astronomy Forum in Suffern N.Y).
They spent their time showing the Sun to the public.

On May 20, 2012 club members Jeff and Don took their telescopes to the Bagnell Dam overlook in Osage Beach and shared the Solar Eclipse with the public.

On June 5, 2012 club members Jeff and Don took their telescopes to the Bagnell
Dam overlook in Osage Beach and this time shared the Venus Transit with the public.

Camden County Astronomy Club uses their telescopes to show the
public American Bald Eagles at Eagle Days 2013
