On May 9, 2012 Jim and Ginny Strogen purchased 10 acres of land near Montreal MO Our plans are to build an Observatory that will give our club members a dark sky site where they can enjoy the night sky.
On that same day The Camden County Astronomy Club had a celebration star party at our new “dark sky site” Had a great time the sky was awesome the sky stayed clear for us :) We started the party early and took some time to look at the Sun.
